The current Director of Financial Services presents financial information to the Board of Directors at all meetings, and is a member of the Finance Committee which meets monthly. He or she also plays a primary role in preparing the community’s annual budget and preparing the community for its independent annual audit. He or she also prepares information for the annual Medicare Cost Report, prepares all annual reports necessary for the Florida Department of Financial Services including the minimum liquid reserve calculation and annual financial ratio information for the accreditation commission, CCAC-CARF. Additionally, He or she prepares, reviews and distributes monthly financial statements to department directors, Board members, and Finance Committee members in order for all concerned to keep up on the financial condition of the Glenview or take action on any undesirable trends.

As the Executive Director, Randy is responsible for the daily operations and management of The Glenview, the only wholly resident owned retirement community in Florida. This is a collaborative effort between the Board of Directors, Brookdale Senior Living Upper Management and ancillary services, along with the amazing local Glenview Associate Team. This living testimony of World Class Service can be likened to a close knit extended family that loves each other in a caring, supportive and respectful way.

Randy received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology from Florida State University and Master of Social Work degree from Barry University, along with a post graduate Certificate in Elder Care from Florida International University.

Randy and his wife, Claire, have been married for eight years. They have four children, oldest son at University of Central Florida, second son in the U.S. Army, oldest daughter at Cal Poly Tech in California and the youngest daughter is a junior in high school. Claire is presently in nursing school to become a Registered Nurse.

Randy and Claire are very active in the First Baptist Church of Naples, serving in various roles as teachers, mentors and caring hands for youth programs and adult Bible and Life Groups. They also enjoy gardening, home projects, sports and travel.

Randy has been a regular participant in community affairs and service opportunities, including Kids Against Hunger, President and Board Member of The Rotary Club of Naples, Homeowner Association Board Member and Officer, as well as Board/Committee Member of the Florida Association of Home and Services for the Aging (FAHSA).

The most significant moments in Randy’s life have been in helping raise four children, enriching the lives of so many senior adults and being a part of changed lives through church and Rotary.

Prior to coming to The Glenview, Theresa was employed as Human Resources Director for hospitals within the Hospital Corporation of America/Columbia, HealthTrust and Tenet organizations, most recently with Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston, Florida.

Theresa obtained her BA degrees in History and Social Sciences Interdisciplinary while working as a phlebotomist at HCA West Florida Regional Medical Center (WFRMC), where she was nominated for HCA’s Human Resources Management Internship Program. While employed as Employment Manager at WFRMC, she had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr. Theresa and Paul have been married for 32 years and have a 22 year old son, Paul. She loves spending time with her family and friends, the beach, reading, movies and all outdoor activities.

His professional work résumé includes building construction background, supervisory and on-hand experience in the maintenance operations ranging from lead construction technician, hospital safety officer, life safety compliance officer for both the acute care settings as well as the long term care settings with senior living environments. He is currently an active member of the NFPA and Florida Healthcare Engineers Association.

Juan is married and has two children, Rebekah Johnson, currently an RN in Premier Place/Glenview, Dan Neftali currently a Specialty Installer for Camping World Inc. in Ft. Myers. , and one grand-daughter. He is the oldest of 11 children from a farm/ranch country town in Texas. Juan enjoys BBQ cookouts, carpentry and auto mechanics, yard work, as well as listening to Tejano music.

Her career began with teaching at Des Moines Area Community College for four years and managing the Collier County and City of Naples recreation departments for seven years. She received her master’s degree from Drake University in Recreation Administration and her bachelor degree from Minnesota State University.

Marilyn enjoys yoga, pilates, cooking and traveling. She especially enjoys traveling to the Pacific Northwest.

While working toward her BS in Nursing at the University of Buffalo, she worked as a nursing assistant and LPN. She graduated with departmental honors in 1976 and began her career as a charge nurse on a medical unit at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo. Her career path then took her to the Buffalo VA Hospital where she worked on a research unit that employed only BS educated nurses.

After the birth of her two daughters, she was the Evening Supervisor and Medical Officer for a CCRC in suburban Buffalo during which time she was honored as “Staff Member of the Year”. During that time she also assisted as a Nursing Instructor for the Board of Educational Cooperative Services (BOCES) Program.

Her family moved to Hyde Park New York where she finally found her true nursing passion, Home Health Care. Starting out as a Case Manager in 1998, she assumed the Administrator’s position in 2006 of a Medicare/Medicaid County wide Home Health Care Program. Her Agency earned a zero deficiency Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) survey just before she left to move to Naples.

At that time she felt she could never top that professional goal. She was wrong. She is delighted to be a part of The Glenview and with the help of her dedicated staff not only plans to maintain the standards of GlenCare, but to improve and grow its sterling reputation.

He started his career in Cuba in 1986 as a Registered Nurse and shortly after became a Nurse Anesthetist. Juan came to the United States in 1991 and again obtained his license as a Registered Nurse. After working as a Cardiac Care Nurse at Naples Community Hospital for four years, Juan started at Premier Place as a floor nurse. Soon after, he worked his way up to Assistant Director of Nursing where he helped bring the team to a zero deficiency state survey. In 2005, the team was awarded for the most improved reduction in over-time/contract labor. In 2008, Juan was promoted to the Director of Nursing position, and has continued to assist the team in obtaining the Brookdale Senior Living Cornerstone Award yearly.

Juan has been married for ten years now and has a daughter.

From Electrical Engineer, to Paramedic then Nurse and from US Steel Corporation to Hospital Emergency Departments and ICU’s in two states then Long term care centers in Florida, depicts his journey to the Glenview. He became interested in the legal aspects of care and reduction of medical errors and as a Long Term Care Manager he learned about Risk Management. To formalize his risk management education, he entered the Risk Management Licensure Program at South Florida University and was licensed as a Risk Manager in 2007. As an Educator, he began instructing Emergency Medical Technicians as a Primary Instructor for the State of Indiana and associate Paramedic Instructor from 1979 to 1986. As a Paramedic Shift Commander and Police Medical Training Officer for the Town of Merrillville Indiana from 1990 to 1996, he also taught first aid techniques to private company employees throughout Northwest Indiana.

Warren has an extensive educational background which includes a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at Purdue University, Nursing Degree at Indiana University, Health Care Risk Management at South Florida University and Legal Nurse Consultant Training at the University of Arizona. Along the way, he has kept himself busy with family life that consists of seven children ranging in age from 6 to 34 and five grandchildren.

Steve is married with two children and three stepdaughters. He enjoys golf, wakeboarding and going to the gym.
