Pelican Bay

There are beautiful places to live in Naples. There is only one Pelican Bay. Three miles of private Gulf beach. A protected mangrove nature preserve with tram access. World-class tennis, pickleball, fitness, and beachfront dining. And at the northern edge of it all, one community that offers something no other address in Pelican Bay can: the ability to own your home here for life, with a complete continuum of care already in place.
The Pelican Bay Foundation is the private organization that owns and maintains the community's shared amenities — the beaches, the nature preserve, the tram, the tennis and pickleball facilities, the fitness center, and the beachfront restaurants. Membership is exclusive to Pelican Bay property owners and residents. It is not available to the general public, and it cannot be purchased separately.
It comes with every home at The Glenview.
The Beach
The Pelican Bay Foundation maintains two beachfront pavilions on the Gulf of Mexico — North Pavilion and South Pavilion — both accessible via private tram through the nature preserve. Each has beachfront dining, chair and umbrella service, and restroom facilities. Marker 36 and The Sandbar, the Foundation’s two Gulf-side restaurants, serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner seasonally.
Access is exclusive to Pelican Bay Foundation members. As a Glenview resident, you are one of them.
The Tram
The ride to the beach is, on its own, worth describing. The private tram winds through Pelican Bay’s protected mangrove nature preserve — a canopied, quiet passage through genuine Florida wilderness that opens onto the Gulf. It runs daily, connecting the community to both pavilions, and it is one of those small daily pleasures that residents mention, unprompted, when they talk about why they love living here.
Fitness & the Community Center
The Pelican Bay Community Center houses a full fitness facility with cardio and strength equipment, group fitness classes, and personal training — available to all Foundation members. The building also serves as the hub for Foundation programming, community events, lectures, and board meetings throughout the year.
Tennis & Pickleball
The Foundation maintains 18 Har-Tru tennis courts with a full racquet sports program, a pro shop, and instruction for players at every level. In recent years, pickleball courts have been added and have quickly become one of the most popular amenities in the community — a sport with a dedicated following among Pelican Bay residents.
Waterside Shops
An open-air luxury shopping center within Pelican Bay, Waterside Shops is home to Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, and a carefully curated mix of boutiques and restaurants. It is walkable from the community — and for residents who prefer, accessible by tram. This is not a nearby mall. It is part of the fabric of life here.
Artis—Naples
Adjacent to Pelican Bay, Artis—Naples is one of Florida’s foremost cultural institutions — home to the Naples Philharmonic, the Baker Museum of Art, and a full season of world-class performances, exhibitions, and educational programming. Residents of The Glenview live, in the most literal sense, around the corner from one of the best concert halls in the state.
Nature Trails & Walking Paths
Miles of walking and cycling paths wind through Pelican Bay’s nature preserve and manicured grounds. The preserve — a rare expanse of protected Florida mangrove — borders the community on the west side and gives residents a daily connection to natural landscape that is, in Naples, genuinely irreplaceable.
Everything, in One Place
Few communities in Florida can offer this combination of amenities in a single membership. Fewer still can offer it at the level of quality Pelican Bay maintains. And none of them — not one — also offer the ability to own your home, with a full LifeCare program already in place, at a five-star health center already on campus.
