Patrick Noonan, Executive Director
Experience: Over 20 years experience in Senior Living
With a background in Hospitality and Hotel Management, Patrick started serving seniors in 1992 as the Dining Room Manager at the Gatesworth Retirement Community is St. Louis. In 1994, Patrick accepted a position as the Food Service Director at Friendship Village Sunset Hills (FVSH) (formally South County) in Sunset Hills, Mo. FVSH is managed by Life Care Services (LCS) and had been for over 35 years. In 1995, Patrick was asked to join the LCS Food & Beverage Resource Team and acted as a consultant for food quality and service issues for seniors. He then joined LCS as an Associate Administrator for Greenwood Village South, in Greenwood, IN. in 1998. In 2003, Patrick was assigned as the Executive Director of The United Methodist Village in Godfrey, IL, and is now currently the Executive Director at The Glenview at Pelican Bay in Naples, FL.
Patrick has been instrumental in the development of the LCS Food & Beverage manual and the LCS Wait Staff Training manual & video. Patrick has been asked to speak at both State and National Conferences regarding Hospitality and Senior Living Issues including Leading Age and Leading Age Missouri. He has also has been asked to speak at the LCS Symposium and other department director’s conferences. He has been quoted in and has authored articles in trade magazines and corporate newsletters. Patrick has served as Chairman of the LCS 2008 Symposium. In addition, he has served on the LCS Hospitality Initiative Committee called Extraordinary Impressions and is credited for writing and directing a hospitality video called “It’s the little things…” Patrick also served as Chairman of the LCS Operations Council (OC) from 2009-2012 and Chairman of the LCS Lifestyle & Health Services Committee.
Patrick holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and an Associates Degree in Hospitality & Restaurant Management. He holds a Nursing Home license in both Missouri and Indiana. Patrick has been married to his wife Donna for over 28 years and they have five children. Patrick’s interest’s include playing music and is an accomplished drummer and bass player.

Theresa Espeseth, Human Resources Director
Experience: 25 years with The Glenview at Pelican Bay
Theresa Espeseth, The Glenview’s Director of Human Resources, directs all aspects of The Glenview’s Human Resources functions including compensation, benefits, recruitment and retention and payroll. She serves on the Cancer Alliance of Naples Board and is a member of the Community Emergency Response Team for North Naples.
Prior to coming to The Glenview, Theresa was employed as Human Resources Director for hospitals within the Hospital Corporation of America/Columbia, HealthTrust and Tenet organizations, most recently with Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston, Florida.
Theresa obtained her BA degrees in History and Social Sciences Interdisciplinary while working as a phlebotomist at HCA West Florida Regional Medical Center (WFRMC), where she was nominated for HCA’s Human Resources Management Internship Program. While employed as Employment Manager at WFRMC, she had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr. Theresa and Paul have been married for 32 years and have a 22 year old son, Paul. She loves spending time with her family and friends, the beach, reading, movies and all outdoor activities.
Juan Esquivel, Jr., Building & Facilities Director
Experience: 35 years with The Glenview at Pelican Bay
Juan currently holds responsibility for the Building & Facilities department, which includes the Director of Plant Operations, Housekeeping/Laundry and Resident Services. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, preventative maintenance programs and operations, life safety compliance, asset management and involvement with the Landscaping Committee, Building Committee and various other duties focusing on peak efficiencies and overall team work.
His professional work résumé includes building construction background, supervisory and on-hand experience in the maintenance operations ranging from lead construction technician, hospital safety officer, life safety compliance officer for both the acute care settings as well as the long term care settings with senior living environments. He is currently an active member of the NFPA and Florida Healthcare Engineers Association.
Juan is married and has two children, Rebekah Johnson, currently an RN in Premier Place/Glenview, Dan Neftali currently a Specialty Installer for Camping World Inc. in Ft. Myers. , and one grand-daughter. He is the oldest of 11 children from a farm/ranch country town in Texas. Juan enjoys BBQ cookouts, carpentry and auto mechanics, yard work, as well as listening to Tejano music.

Marilyn McGinty, Lifestyles Director
Experience: 26 years with The Glenview at Pelican Bay
As Lifestyles Director, Marilyn McGinty, is responsible for developing a comprehensive entertainment, educational and fitness programs for the residents. She has a committee of 12 residents who help determine the program selection. She publishes, The Glenview News, a monthly publication and prepares the budget and all department correspondences and announcements. She also oversees the welcoming and library committees.
Her career began with teaching at Des Moines Area Community College for four years and managing the Collier County and City of Naples recreation departments for seven years. She received her master’s degree from Drake University in Recreation Administration and her bachelor degree from Minnesota State University.
Marilyn enjoys yoga, pilates, cooking and traveling. She especially enjoys traveling to the Pacific Northwest.
Juan Ricardo, Director of Nursing, Premier Place
Experience: 25 years with The Glenview at Pelican Bay
Juan Ricardo actively serves Premier Place at The Glenview as Director of Nursing. He ensures the daily functions continuously operate within Center for Medicare/Medicaid Service (CMS) guidelines. Juan oversees Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and the Interdisciplinary Team. Some of his responsibilities include education, admissions, infection control, wound care, safety, and quality assurance.
He started his career in Cuba in 1986 as a Registered Nurse and shortly after became a Nurse Anesthetist. Juan came to the United States in 1991 and again obtained his license as a Registered Nurse. After working as a Cardiac Care Nurse at Naples Community Hospital for four years, Juan started at Premier Place as a floor nurse. Soon after, he worked his way up to Assistant Director of Nursing where he helped bring the team to a zero deficiency state survey. In 2005, the team was awarded for the most improved reduction in over-time/contract labor. In 2008, Juan was promoted to the Director of Nursing position, and has continued to assist the team in obtaining the Brookdale Senior Living Cornerstone Award yearly.
Juan has been married for ten years now and has a daughter.
Steve Saalfield, Director of Food and Beverage
Experience: 14 years with The Glenview at Pelican Bay
17 years in Retirement Services, 10 years in Resort & Country Club Services
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Steve was chosen by various four star resorts and country clubs to serve as a chef, banquet chef, and executive chef. In 1994 he decided to go into the retirement side of food service, as a chef. After several years, he decided to move to the front of the house. Since joining the Glenview 14 years ago, Steve and his dedicated staff have received many top performance awards such as “highest residents satisfaction” from 2003-2010. In his off time he created and marketed an in-house culinary service that included special events such as “ladies night out,” wine and cheese parties and dessert specialties.
Steve is married with two children and three stepdaughters. He enjoys golf, wakeboarding and going to the gym.
Lisa Stepzinski, Rehabilitation Director
Experience: 11 years with The Glenview at Pelican Bay
As Therapy Director, Lisa Stepzinski is responsible for program development, routine chart audits, providing patient care, development and implementation of treatment plans, optimizing the treatment minutes for PPS and the day to day operations of the rehabilitation department.
Lisa earned her Masters Degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders from Eastern Illinois University. For the past 10 years she has been working in Naples, Florida. She spent her first 5 years working with both the geriatric and pediatric population in acute care, home health and outpatient settings. Since then, she has been dedicated to the geriatric population in Health & Rehabilitation. She has been in a management position for the past 5 years.
Lisa enjoys reading and running in her spare time, as well as spending time with her children.

Jared Odor, Director of Financial Services
Experience: Started with Brookdale and The Glenview at Pelican Bay in 2012. 6 Years in Healthcare Finance (starting in February 2008)
Jared serves as the Director of Financial Services for The Glenview at Pelican Bay. In this role he is responsible for the financial management and financial operations of the community and health center.
Prior to joining The Glenview, Jared worked for Health Management Associates at the Physicians Regional Healthcare System in Naples, FL in roles as an Assistant Controller and as a Controller.
Jared holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Asbury University in Wilmore, KY and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Florida.
Jared has been a Naples resident since 2008 and met his wife, Lauren, after he moved to the area. Jared and Lauren have been married since 2011.
